Welcome to Toneheim Folkehøgskole!

Ung i Kor Oslo and Ung i Kor Sørøst invites you to SOMMERANGUKA 2027. From June 22–26, we’re inviting kids and teenagers who love to sing to join us for a summer camp at Toneheim Folk High School!

You’ll get to take part in choir-workshops led by great instructors, you’ll get to learn music theory, join concerts, and have LOTS of summer fun! ☀️

Camp Information

OM SOMMERSANGUKA

Dates: June 22–26 (4 nights)
Location: Toneheim Folkehøgskole, Ridabu
Age: 11–19 (from grade 5)
Registration deadline: May 1, 2027. Registration becomes binding from May 19. Cancellations after this date will be charged in full.

FEE AND PRICES

We offer the following rates:

  • Early bird: NOK 3,300 (until March 1)

  • Regular price: NOK 3,650

  • Choir group rate: NOK 3,300 (minimum 5 participants)

  • Sibling discount: NOK 200

Until March 1, we offer an early bird rate at NOK 3,300!

The price includes all lessons and activities, meals and accommodation. Reduced participation fees or free participation may also be available for those who need financial assistance. Read more about reduced participation fees here.

ACCOMMODATION

Participants will stay in the dormitories at Toneheim Folkehøgskole and will stay in cabins for up to 10 people. The cabins are on the school grounds. Participants will be assigned to single or double rooms.

INCLUSIVE CAMP

We welcome everyone to Sommersanguka. All of our activities can be adapted to accommodate different needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.

MEALS

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and an evening meal (kveldsmat) will be served every day. Please let us know about any dietary requirements when registering.

TRANSPORTATION FROM OSLO

Group transport will be arranged from Oslo and Skjetten on Tuesday, June 22. Participants will arrive at Toneheim before 12:00.

Further details about transport will be sent to participants closer to the departure date.

Please note that changes may occur. The full schedule will be shared with participants at arrival.

Financial support

We want everyone to be able to take part in Sommersanguka, regardless of their financial circumstances or where they live.

If you are traveling to camp from outside of Oslo and your travel expenses exceed NOK 500, we can cover the costs up to a maximum of NOK 1,000. We encourage everyone to choose the most affordable, environmentally friendly and practical travel option possible.

To apply for travel support, please let us know in the registration form!

We can also cover part of the participation fee for those who would otherwise be unable to attend due to financial circumstances. If you find the cost to participate too high, please let us know when you sign up and we’ll get in touch.
